some guy in lebanon

I have not been good about staying in touch (besides the excitement of TWO stories published on international news wires in two weeks…) – I am really awaiting the return of my all important laptop computer from the Apple store so that I can upload my pictures from the past two weeks. I have some beautiful shots of the Cedar Nature Preserve – As those of you who know your Old Testement are surely aware, the Cedars in Lebanon are famous – They were reportedly used to Build Solomon’s temple.

I will be publishing a few more stories over the next week – One on web development in Lebanon and the Middle East, and one on my favorite Bar here in Beirut. There are opportunities as well to write some other stories for the Business Section. I have decided to stay away from political news for the time being and invest myself full in the paper’s newspaper. I found out today that our major on-line competitor swept the Lebanese Web Awards this year, and it has become my all consuming passion to take this distinction from them next year. I have even posted the list of awards on the wall above my computer so that I will be suitably angry every time I sit down.
