Thanks to the generocity of Marc Sirois (perhaps because of all the whiskey I bought him last October?), I will offically be leaving the US for Beirut on November 2nd (which is like 5 weeks from now…). I will begin my time there as an intern for the Daily Star, but there is a pretty good possibility that within a few months I will be able to transition to a full time position as a journalist and also in the Electronic Publishing division (web site, pod casting, blogging, photo, video/audio, etc). It seems one of my first tasks will be to rebuild www.dailystar.com.lb – I’m thinking I’ll do it on Big Medium

Anyways, I’ve built this website (http://williamcurtisdonovan.com) to have some space to express my thoughts, diatribes, and opinions while I’m out of the country, as well as to experiment with a variety of publishing methods, including pod casting, blogging, photography, etc.
